Marc Reid

Marc was born and raised in Glasgow, Scotland. Through his PhD at Strathclyde, postdoc in Edinburgh, and independent positions at Strathclyde and Bristol universities, Marc trained as a physical organic chemist and has branched out to broader academic and entrepreneurial pursuits ever since. His research interests include physical organic chemistry, computer vision, virtual reality, process safety, and the psychology of the imposter phenomenon. Outside of academia, Marc is the co-founder of safety culture and accident readiness company Pre-Site Safety.
